Lily graduated from Texas State University with degrees in Mass Communications and Spanish. She also studied International Business at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores in Monterrey Mexico. Lily is very active in her community the President of Fredonia Rotary Club, the President of Stephen F. Austin State University’s Friends of the Visual Arts, Vice Chair of Planning & Zoning for the City of Nacogdoches, Committee Member of the Capital Needs Advisory Board, Advisory Board Member of Stephen F. Austin State University Music Preparatory School, as a member of the board of trustees for The Museum of East Texas.
